Is my location always shared with everyone?+
No. Visibility is per-friend and tiered — Hidden, Nearby, or Exact. By default friends see you as Nearby, never your exact spot. Drop to Hidden anytime, or share Exact with one person for a few hours before it switches itself off.
What's a Vibe?+
One tap puts a vibe on your pin — let's hang 🤙, locked in 🎧, lights out 💤. Your friends see what you're up for at a glance, no group text required. It clears itself by morning.
What's Crossed Paths?+
Pair with anyone — a friend, or someone you just met — by scanning their code, and Proximitii reveals where your paths already crossed: the same concert, the same corner, sometimes years before you met. In person, mutual, and never posted.
What's a Community Album?+
Be at the same place at the same time as other Proximitii users — a concert, a wedding, a Sunday market — and you can pool photos and videos into one shared album. Only people who were verifiably there can see it or add to it; friends appear by name, strangers stay anonymous, and nothing exists until someone chooses to share the first shot. The full story.
Does it drain my battery?+
It's engineered to sip. Proximitii leans on visit detection and significant movement instead of hammering GPS, and tracking sleeps at places you're settled. All-day use is designed to be a rounding error.
What does it cost?+
Nothing right now. When that changes we'll say so plainly instead of springing a paywall on you mid-map.
Do you sell my data?+
No. No ads, no data brokers, no advertising profiles. Your location is shared only with friends you accept, and you can delete your history — or your whole account — in the app anytime. More on safety.
